Kate Rock - Communications Specialist
After graduating, I entered GOODYEAR DUNLOP EUROPE as a Communications Specialist (Internal/Brand) in the PR department. My role covers a range of tasks from internal
communications to the execution of PR for Farm tyres. The job specification I was given on joining the company was detailed in depth and outlined what I would be faced
with in the role, which was extremely useful. The company has processes in place to measure performance and also for objective setting. This is a constructive way of
working particularly at the early stages in career development. On a day to day basis I manage my own tasks which are overseen by my line manager. He is always available
for support, which is exactly what is needed for someone who has little experience.
I work in a small team of three. We each have a lot of ideas and are able to share
them with ease and confidence.
